Antique buying trips in France, England and beyond

Small group buying journeys through the markets, fairs and dealer spaces I work with all year. Six guests, real sourcing, and the world of antiques from the inside.

An immersion in the world of antiques

Travel with me through the markets, brocantes, and dealer spaces where I buy all year, on small group journeys made for collectors, vintage sellers, and anyone drawn to old things. I live in England and source on both sides of the Channel, so these are not tours of the famous stops. They are working trips through the rooms and relationships that make up the trade itself.

Along the way you handle the pieces, compare them, talk with the people who sell them, and find out what you actually like, while the days fill out with villages, long meals, and the places that make each region worth the crossing.

On the horizon

For those drawn to the world of antiques

These journeys are for people drawn to the beauty, history and craftsmanship of antiques. Build a personal collection, source for your business, or simply learn to see this world more clearly.

The Atelier approach

Every journey is built around more than where we go. It is shaped by how the days unfold: conversations with dealers, the stories behind objects, the quiet finds between markets, and the moments shared along the way.

Meet your host

I live in England and have spent years traveling it and France, building relationships with the dealers, collectors and places that make each region what it is. Atelier Chatelaine is how I share that world, through journeys grounded in real knowledge and a warm welcome. And somewhere along the way, there are double takes, unexpected discoveries, a little bit of magic, and always cake.

Private buying trips

For a one-to-one version of all this, private buying trips are built entirely around you: the pieces you hope to find, the regions that suit them, and the pace you want to keep. We source side by side, and I handle the route, the introductions, the pricing conversations and the shipping, so your attention stays on the pieces.
