I built Atelier Chatelaine around a simple belief: that the objects we live with should mean something. Each piece I source carries real history, the craftsmanship of another era, made to last in a way that little is today. Choosing vintage is also choosing to opt out of the cycle of disposable things. This is a space for collectors, vintage sellers, and anyone drawn to older objects with genuine stories. The focus is not on trends or volume. It is on discernment, context, and choosing with intention.

I’m Kathy. I spend my time in England and France, learning on the ground, building relationships with dealers, and gaining access to the best places to source. I’ve learned that the difference between a hesitant buyer and a confident one is rarely about money or experience. More often, it comes down to access and understanding. Knowing where to go, how to move through a market, and what to look for once you’re there. That is what Atelier is built around.
