Experience the North of England

This is my home region, and this trip is the one I have wanted to host since the day I moved here. For six days we source our way through the North I know best: the stone villages of the Yorkshire Dales, the Moors, the Peak District, and the dealers I buy from all year. Early April means fires still lit in the pubs, lambs in the fields, spring flowers along the lanes, and a buying season just waking up. At the dealers we take our time, with room to learn, linger and look twice. Then we trade the country lanes for the glorious chaos of Newark, and shop Europe's largest antiques fair the way the trade does. There is also a surprise built into the week, in the Dales, that only booked guests will hear about.

The Yorkshire Dales & Moors

Sweeping views and the North at its most beautiful.

We source through the market towns and hill villages of the Dales and the Moors, and stop for the views on the way.

Thousands of stands across a vast showground. I know how the day runs, where to start and how to pace it, so you can spend your time looking, comparing and deciding.

Early spring in the North

Lambing season, spring flowers, and fires still burning in the inns.

Dealers are rested from the winter, the showrooms and barns are stocked again, and nothing has been picked over yet.

It comes from conversations with seasoned dealers, and from comparing the honest wear, feel and construction of pieces in your own hands.

More than the markets

Long lunches, good dinners, and evenings by the fire in the inns. The hours between the buying are what guests talk about long afterward.

Our trip surpassed all my expectations. Kathy was a wonderful host and guide. She aided in making introductions which lay the groundwork for future business in the region. I definitely plan to travel with Kathy again.

Hi, I'm Kathy. After years of sourcing across Europe, I realized the most rewarding part wasn't simply finding beautiful antiques, it was sharing the experience with others. These journeys were created to offer genuine access to the world of antiques in a way that feels welcoming, inspiring, and deeply personal. My hope is that you'll return home not only with meaningful finds, but with greater confidence, lasting connections, and memories that stay with you long after the journey ends.
