SLOW DÉCOR FOR AN INTENTIONAL LIFESTYLE.

A Chatelaine (lady of the Chateau/Castle)?

This painting is close to Atelier's heart. One of the most wonderful portraits found to date. This is a 1900s oil on board in the most lux gilt frame - it's absolutely sublime. Signed by the artist with a little surprise for the new owner on the back.

The artist is Paul Kusche (1882-1952). Research shows the valuation of this painting needs further attention though on the first strike, it is between $1-2000USD.

The painting depicts a lady. Gentle and knowledgeable, hair curled and set, no doubt by the style, this is early 1900s. A rosy yet contemplative gaze, she has delicate features that balance a simple dress neckline.

This piece measures 51 cm x 46 cm.

Sourced in Amiens, France.

Please be advised that all items in our Vintage Collection are second-hand pieces with a previous life. All cosmetic marks, stains, bumps and signs of wear are part of the natural character and beauty of vintage pieces.
