A traditional and classic white ironstone jug, made in France. The jug has delicate leaf designs underneath the wide spout and on the handle.
Circa 1890 - 1940, French Creamware, this is ironstone in a creamy white colour - warm, neutral and lovely! It has some signs of wear, though in great condition for it's age!
It's also known as Vallaruis white ironstone and could have been a washstand water pitcher.
Traditionally used for water, this jug would be stunning as a floral vase or could serve any drink. The jug measures 24 cm wide, 14 cm tall.
