French Enamel Towel Racks

2 Antique French enamel towel racks circa 1920/40 - a rare find indeed!

White and worn enamel kitchen towel holder with four hooks for hands (essuile-mains), glasses (verres), cutlery (couteaux) and dishes (assiettes).  In true French fashion, everything in it's place, and that means a towel for each purpose!

1. 1920. It has some enamel loss as shown in photos, the hooks are pristine.  There is a beautiful scallop design on both edges of the rack.

The rack is stamped by the manufacturer and would be perfect hung in any kitchen but specifically one with other vintage items or a European or Farmhouse feel.

2. A thicker rack of white enamel. Circa 1940.
