Atelier hit gold uncovering several mid-century watercolour paintings by Eileen Cooke, a prominent artist from the mid 1900s. Most of her work captures scenes and moments in her life across England, Scotland and Wales.

This piece depicts an English still life. A bold and fresh take on a floral painting using lilacs as her inspiration. This is a watercolour supported on thick paper, unframed and in excellent condition.
