A British cup and saucer at a French brocante? You bet!

This is the only English vintage piece in our collection and what a lovely tea cup and saucer set! This is the Denmark collection from Furnivals, England, a lovely example of English china for the home.

Furnivals, established in 1890, were based in Cobridge in Stoke-On-Trent, Staffordshire. Incorporated to Furnivals (Ltd) in 1895 they were one of, if not the first, pottery in Europe to produce the Blue Denmark design which had earlier been introduced to Europe from the Orient.

A set made from English china in classic blue and white, made circa 1950-1960. A lovely wide mouth tea cup fits perfectly on its matching saucer for a little taste of England.

The tea cup measures 10 cm in diameter and 6.5 cm height. The saucer is 16.5 cm in diameter.

Sourced from a brocante in the Loire Valley, France.

Made in England.
