This picture depicts freshly picked peonies, a classically French spring flower, in a ceramic vase with the background soothing shades of blue, white and grey - very Provence. This is a wonderful piece of art. The colours, subject and inspiration are all very South of France, while the white wooden frame is classic framing from the same area of France - Provence.
