What a stunner! This is an 1880s oil on board painting in a gold coloured frame. Atelier believes the frame to be younger than the painting. This piece is also signed and dated by the artist.

This piece depicts a lovely floral still life of a ceramic pot filled with daffodils. A simple subject made stunning by the use of light and dark as well as the colours - complementary orange and blue. A truly beautiful and very special piece.

Please note there is wear and tear on the frame. Also, there is a mark on the painting itself (see photos), which is typical for the age of the piece.

The piece measures 33 cm x 29 cm.
