Ornate Brass Hook

Rococo style or Victorian? I had a hard time researching this piece, but at the brocante at 6am, it spoke to me. My eye kept coming back to the details, the weight and the uniqueness of the piece.

Natural motifs like leaves, scrolls with curves, dots and geometrical shapes, what a stunning hook!

This is a hook, I would say it was used for general purposes like a hat but maybe it was to tie back curtains. Regardless of the original intent, it has so much more potential in your home.

A solid brass and substantial piece.

Measures 16 cm in length, 5.5 cm width and 13 cm in depth.
