Handmade Salt Glazed Confit Stoneware

We managed to source a variety of these classic confit pots for you! These vintage french handmade salt glazed confit or rillette pots are so versatile.

Beautiful stoneware crocks used in every household and French restaurants during the early 1900's, usually for pates or puddings. Great size and weight. These beautiful pots, all different in size, were created from sandstone and used to cook puddings, pates and breads.

Today, use them for food or styling. Flowers, crafts or a container to hold your cutlery at the table.

I love the slight variations in colouring of the clay with the salt glaze. Very French!

These crocks are very similar in size. Three are 10 cm diameter by 9 cm tall, while the smaller crock is 9 cm x 7.5 cm.
