French Handmade Lined Basket

Very Unique. A basket that looks like a gardener's or foraging basket but is lined with a French linen, typically seen in bread baskets. 

Panier. What the French call a basket. Paniers come in all shapes and sizes, often with very specific purposes - a form of mise en place. 

Amazing artisan made french basket with a lovely, removable French linen lining on the inside. It has all the beautiful irregularities of hand made items with many years of use.

 A lovely example of classic, handwoven French paniers which can be used for so many purposes.

The oval shape measures 26.5 cm x 20 cm x 22 cm, including the handle.

Sourced in Normandy.
