French Digion Bowls

I managed to find 4 of these beautiful earthenware bowls, three different sizes. Made by Manufacture de Digion, a well known manufacturer of ceramics in central France. Known as Grespots Digion.

This is their traditional design which includes a wide brown border, instantly recognized in kitchens across France. Raw finish on the outside and glazed on the inside for ease of care.

These are often used as salad bowls and great for individual servings.

1. The small bowl has some wear and two chips, though the structure is perfectly fine. 11.5 cm diameter opening, 6 cm tall.

2. The medium size we have two bowls! Both in great condition. 14 cm diameter and 7 cm tall.

3. The largest bowl is in near perfect condition. 15 cm diameter and 8.5 cm tall.
