SLOW DÉCOR FOR AN INTENTIONAL LIFESTYLE.

A lovely oil on wood board painting from the 1900s.

This painting depicts a man carrying a basket walking through the forest. The leaves and flowers suggest it's a summertime walk, perhaps heading to a picnic or returning to the farm. The Forest is in an area of South East France, specifically Ardeche, and the Drome department is known for the Vercors Regional Natural Park. The Ardeche is known for it's hiking trails and woodlands.

The painting is smooth to the touch and is signed by the artist in the bottom right side of the piece, though illegible. However, there is something special - on the back of the board are writings for you to enjoy.

The painting is in fantastic condition, with a slightly modern gold frame.

This painting measures 21.5 cm x 17 cm.

Sourced in the Dordogne, France.
