Atelier hit gold uncovering several mid-century watercolour paintings by Eileen Cooke, a prominent artist from the mid 1900s. Most of her work captures scenes and moments in time across England, Scotland and Wales.

This piece depicts a summers day in mid-Wales. The wind whips through the bush and trees while a country lane twists through the landscape. Such a beautiful mix of colours and contrast!

The piece measures 35.5 cm x 51 cm and is in excellent condition.
