This intricate piece is from Faïencerie de Gien, a favourite manufacturer of Atelier. Strong in history, craftsmanship and design, you really can't go wrong with Gien.

This is known as a letter tray, used when small notes in envelopes arrive at the door. An invitation to lunch, notification a good friend was coming to town - transport yourself back.

Today, it would make a great plate to hold keys in an entryway, use to serve tapas, desserts or sweets with tea - just about anything.

The pattern is called cashmire (kashmir) and is an intricate paisley design. The perfect pop of colour for you!
